Van Der Meulen Family | Portrait Photographer Perth
Written by Nick Lance on Thursday, 02 January 2014 14:32

We had the Van Der Meulen Family visit our Perth Studio today for some family portrait photos. We had some fun making little Jamie smile and he made us laugh as well with his light-up shoes!

During the photoshoot it was mentioned that the family came together this time last year and had a Family Photoshoot. It is a great idea for families to have their family portraits taken regularly. It’s not only a way of documenting time but a great reason to come together and have a laugh. After all families are the most important part of our lives.

As we enter into the New Year and we reminisce on the year that has past. Can you remember the last time your family came together and had a family portrait taken?

Our photo packages are some of the most affordable you will find. We give our clients the option of either a studio or location shoot depending on the type of photos they require. We have 3 amazing value for money children and family photography packages. All 3 come with a multitude of prints as well as the option of purchasing the high resolution disc at a heavily discounted rate. Visit our Portrait Photography link for more details.

Jade & Doug | Maternity Photographer Perth
Written by Nick Lance on Monday, 23 December 2013 16:48

This morning we had Jade in our photography studio for her Maternity photos. Jade brought her fiancée along to join her in the photos, so that they could both share in one of the most memorable times in their lives. It was a treat to see just how excited they are at becoming new parents, and in just a few weeks we will have the opportunity of meeting their newborn baby when they come back for their Newborn photos.

As Maternity and Newborn Photographers we have created packages that cater to all expecting mums and dads. Each package has a variety of different sized prints to share with family and friends and some larger sized photos to keep for yourselves. A special part of our Newborn Packages is the personalised announcement cards that we design exclusively for each of our newborn mothers.

Although printed photographs are still one of the most popular and best ways of showing your gorgeous, professional photos to friends and family, we also understand that we live in an ever changing world. Social media has changed the way we share photos, and so we offer our clients the option of investing in digital images from their photoshoot. Digital images are presented on a personalised disc created exclusively for every client. On your disc is each image in colour and black and white and presented in both high and low resolution. High resolution images are available for you to print wherever you like, at any size that you would like. There is no limit on how many copies you can make from each digital file. Low resolution images have been resized and enhanced to suit display screens. The size difference allows for easier uploads to web applications like emailing and social media sites (Facebook,Twitter, etc). Elena | Newborn Photographer Perth
Written by Nick Lance on Sunday, 22 December 2013 19:52

Meet 3 week old baby Elena who joined us in our studio recently for her Newborn photos. Baby Elena is the pride and joy of Dela, who we had in our studio for her Maternity photos back in September. Elena took a little longer to arrive than was expected, but the most important thing is that she is a happy and healthy little girl.

As Newborn Photographers Perth we realise that newborns don’t take direction from any one and like to do things in their own time. Its for this reason that we allow extra time for newborn photo shoots. Elena must have enjoyed our studio a lot because she didn’t want to sleep once she arrived – she wanted to play. It took a while for her to fall back asleep but when she did we were able to use lots of the props we have that looked gorgeous on her.

Although we still have a few photoshoots before we wrap up for 2013, we have just come to realize how huge this year has been here at Digitally Enhanced Photography. We have photographed well over 100 clients in 2013 alone and we are expecting 2014 to be even bigger! To help us celebrate we will be offering a few specials throughout January. For more details visit our Facebook page or send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Scott & Rory | Perth Cake Smash Photographer
Written by Nick Lance on Tuesday, 17 December 2013 15:18

In our studio this morning we welcomed back twins Scott and Rory for their Cake Smash photos. You might remember these happy twins from their photoshoot back in February this year. Yes its been almost a year already! Scott and Rory turned one last week and they are still the same beautifully happy, smiling boys that we remember.

We took a few portrait photos of the twin boys to start with. This gives them a chance to get used to the flashes as well as Billie and my funny faces. They brought along a football for the boys as a prop which we fully encourage. We had so much fun watching the way they were interacting with each other and the giant cupcakes in front of them.

Our last few photoshoots have been from past clients which proves to us that we are providing a great value for money service. We love seeing our clients happy and seeing how our clients have grown and changed since we saw them last. Photography is all about capturing moments and we love to capture moments that our clients can keep and share forever.

Have you ever wondered what to do to make your child’s 1st birthday truly memorable? Why not let them loose on a giant cupcake?! They get to eat it, smash it, throw it,.. in fact they are able to do whatever they like and have the time of their lives without getting in trouble! You will have the images captured forever and you won’t even have to clean up the mess.

Kaley | Perth Cake Smash Photographer
Written by Nick Lance on Wednesday, 11 December 2013 15:53

Today we had Kaley in our studio for her cake smash photos. Kaley has been in our studio a couple of times already this year but this photoshoot was particularly special. This was her very first Cake Smash!

Cake Smash photography shoots are the best first birthday present because the reaction shots are priceless! Nobody knows exactly how their child will react when they receive a giant cupcake to eat. Some laugh, some are shy. Some are delicate and some smash it to pieces – but all make for amazing photos for mum and dad to keep forever.

Kaley wasn’t really interested in having her portrait taken, she was here for the cake! A lot of children aren’t used to eating with their hands and once a cupcake is given to them, they aren’t quite sure what to do. Kaley had been practicing with mud last week, but its not quite the same and Kaley was a little hesitant at first. After some deep thought and some coaxing from Mum and Dad she was in.

We know our cupcakes taste amazing but Kaley is the first to hug and kiss the cupcake!

The idea of smashing the cake must have gotten the better of Jocelyn and James because it wasn’t long before they had joined their daughter and a battle was waged. There was cake in eyes. Icing in ears. It was messy – but incredibly funny and made for great photos!

Cake smash photography is still the same low price and a great gift idea for anyone wanting photos of their kids. How will your child react when they have a giant cupcake placed in front of them? Book now for your Cake Smash photos!

Matilda | Cake Smash Photographer Perth
Written by Nick Lance on Monday, 02 December 2013 09:50

Yesterday we had Matilda join us in our studio for her Cake Smash photos. Time has flown past this year because we can’t believe it’s been a year since we had Matilda in our studio for her Newborn photos and her sister Poppy’s Cake Smash. It was great to see them all again and see how much they’ve changed in only a year. It was also interesting to see how different the two sisters are, so we couldn’t wait to see how Matilda would react to her first Cake Smash photoshoot.

After a few portraits Matilda sat down behind the cake and seemed to analyze it intently. Girls seem to be a lot more thoughtful in their actions, as one would expect from girls. Matilda looked as if she was about to get stuck into her cake,.. until some icing caught her leg and the stickiness was a bit weird for her. After some reassurance (and some coaxing from an eager big sister) Matilda got right into her Cake Smash. Before long, Poppy had joined her and the two sisters were enjoying smashing the cake.

Cake smash photography is still the same low price and a great gift idea for anyone wanting photos of their kids. How will your child react when they have a giant cupcake placed in front of them? Book now for your Cake Smash photos!
